The top is represented by centrally located and luxurious:

St.Petersburg hotel – not a walking distance from main attractions – visible from its windows across the Neva river – but offering competitive prices www.hotel-spb.ru

Comfort hotel – one of the most central venues between the Hermitage museum and St.Isaac’s cathedral
Mini-hotels
Thriving sphere with lots of properties being added each year with 4-20 rooms approximately in each. In the main street of the city – Nevsky prospect – one can find mini-hotels in ##22, 64, 69, 72, 74, 90, 91, 92, 142, 150, 163 – and this is not the full list…
The best, at my opinion, would be:

Among the economical ones –
